What happens in a Feng Shui consultation, and what Feng Shui tools do you use?

I start the consultation with a discovery call finding out what you would like to accomplish in the Feng Shui consultation. I then e-mail a confidential questionnaire, which you will return to me with your floor plan of your property before the on-site consultation. This questionnaire helps me to look for the subtle energy blockages in your property. My training helps me to uncover problems that you may not be able to pinpoint otherwise.

I work with the Bagua map, which is using your floor plan of your home or business starting at the front door, which you furnished to me before the on-site consultation. I divide this map of your home into 9 grids or a tic-tac-toe board. This Bagua map or template has 8 energetic life aspirations as follows: Career, Knowledge & Self Cultivation, Health & Family, Wealth & Prosperity, Fame & Reputation, Love & Marriage/Relationships, Children & Creativity, and Helpful People & Travel. The center is the energetic hub or “Tai Chi”. I then analyze the Bagua Map with an eye for “missing areas”. With my “Feng Shui” eyes, I suggest enhancements or cures. All these life aspirations are interconnected and when one is weak all areas of the property need to be enhanced.

I also work with balancing the five elements, which are essential for an area to feel more balanced, harmonious, and welcoming. This is a very detailed observation because it works with not only the elements, but also the color and shapes.

A consultation would not be complete without balancing the Universal Opposites and complementary energies called Yin and Yang. Yin being the feminine, dark, small, round, moist, curved, cool, night, moon. Yang energy being the masculine, bright, large, angular, dry, straight, warm, day, sun. You need to always have these energies within a space balanced for the area to feel more comfortable and balanced.
